That’s me! My music purchase quadrupled once i got to sample new bands, and old ones to see if they still interested me. I’d never have got into The Killers or Razorlight without listening to some tracks first, but i generally buy the album and then upload it to my iTunes.
I haven’t got mobile with iPod etc yet, but I may. However I have all my legally recorded stuff electronically available for playlists on the home pc, and an MP3 CD player in my car.
I also find myself traking “illegal” electronic downloads of selected old materials I have on vinyl, rather than the pallaver of recording off the vinyl.
